"My clients can't get in touch, every day I have to walk into town to check my messages and I'm missing so many calls it's becoming very frustrating," she said.
Vodafone has confirmed it is investigating the issue and hoped to have it resolved "as soon as possible" but said it was only affecting 3G services.
However, Ms Gunion, and many more disgruntled IP1 customers, insist the problem affects the entire service not just 3G.
They also claim Vodafone has repeatedly failed to act on their complaints and refused to give assurances of when their service might be restored

"But they're missing the point it's not as if we're asking for something we didn't have before we had perfect coverage before 10am on December 18."
The Ipswich Star's Facebook site received a torrent of complaints from angry Vodafone customers in IP1 over the weekend.
Sheila Lee Pegg, a senior citizen with disabilities, said she relied on her mobile to contact people for help in case of accidents or emergencies and found the lack of service "very annoying".

Politics with a Difference
Some of them are recognizably "close to home" in that they merely tinker with what we already have. Neville Shute's In The Wet (1953) portrays an amendment to one person one vote democracy: everyone still has the vote but the more solid citizens have more than one. I must say I'm attracted to the idea of extra votes being awarded for education, achievement, marriage, etc, with copy hermes bags the aim of giving more power to the well behaved elements of society! Yay! Down with the riff raff! Sorry. Wasn't me. I never said a word. The colony's two halves are known officially as the Production Retort and the Leisure Retort. As the terms suggest, one is given to work and to the production of material goods, while the other is given to leisure and aesthetic culture. And neither half envies the other. This despite the fact that they are so segregated, that only new born babies pass from one to the other! Generations alternate: a father living in the Leisure Retort will shunt his newborn son to the Production Retort and vice versa. The inhabitants of the Leisure Retort were scarcely aware of the workers who served them, and the workers, in their turn, regarded the participants in the aesthetic leisure culture as idle drones who would probably have been happier doing something useful.is avoided by the Exchange of Generations. Each babe was taken from its mother a few hours after birth and transported to the opposite retort, usually to be reared by its paternal grandmother, who previously had surrendered her own child. now the babe's father or mother.arrangement was made even more perfect by virtue of the fact that the double exchange could be made simultaneously, even though in real terms a time lag of decades was obviously involved. This was because of the flexible phasing of the two retorts in time. On the same day that a couple parted with their new born child, they received that child's how much is a hermes handbag own offspring. their grandchild.protagonist does not share the general satisfaction with this regime. He had been born in the Leisure Retort but his father had hidden him, wanting to keep him, and the deception had lasted for ten years. long enough to make the eventual forced move traumatic. I won't give away any more of the plot. And Retort City is only half the scene of this incredibly rich book.Another impressive display of political creativity is that achieved by Jack Vance in The Anome (1973). In the subcontinent of Shant on the planet Durdane, the 62 cantons each have their own laws and cultures and have little fake Hermes bag maintenance in common. They are ruled by a nameless unknown, called the Faceless Man because his identity is never revealed. The idea is that no one can suborn a person whom one does not know. Government is cheap, since all the Faceless Man has to do when someone breaks a law is press a button to detonate the offender's torc a ring containing explosive material that is fitted around every adult citizen of Shant. The Faceless Man, with a couple of assistants, roves the country, enforcing whatever laws each canton has made for itself. Each Faceless Man chooses his own successor; absolute secrecy is preserved. It makes for a great story though one does wonder how much it could ever work in practice. The same thought will occur to readers of Ursula LeGuin's The Dispossessed (1974), which is a seriously worked out portrayal of an anarchist society. Could anarchism ever really work? With a change of mindset, maybe it just could! At least, reading the novel I almost thinks so, though with regard to the anarchist aim of utter freedom we are prompted to ask ourselves whether the change of mindset which makes the system possible may acquire fake hermes leather handbags an oppressive orthodoxy of its own. The verdict is unsure. The anarchists of Anarres may or may not be heading for political and social failure. We are left to wonder.Philip K Dick's Solar Lottery (1955) envisages a world state in which the ruler is chosen by chance. It is a whackily gripping novel, and true to its own inner laws, so that its lack of exterior credibility does not matter. It turns out that the so called chance election of the ruer has been fixed, and not by a really bad guy either; just by someone who was fed up with things as they were. In A E van Vogt's The World of Null A (1948), a Games Machine appoints the World President and other officials, though here the results are supposed to stem from the tests of ability set by the Machine, rather than from chance. Here, too, it turns out that the process is being tampered with. The abilities required in the rulers of the Uranian cities described in the Ooranye Project are such that no political system known to man could fit the bill. Uranian rulers Noads, or "foci" must have a quality known as lremd, which could be called "steering" or "juggling", the kind of awareness with which anyone who has to multi task in our world (teachers, mothers, managers) must be familiar. But on Ooranye the need is far greater, and the multi tasking ability is necessary in its heightened form, lremd. Government on Ooranye tends to be light and cheap, with huge trust being placed in the Noads and especially on the Noad of Noads, the Sunnoad. Only exceptional individuals can hope to fill these roles. If a Noad goes bad, no constitutional procedure exists for his/her removal, so something unrecorded has to happen, some violent remedial action by private citizens, with no questions asked. If a Sunnoad goes wrong, the result is more surprising to our mentality. A Sunnoad may be Corrected by someone who dares to use force. If the action is justified, the Corrector is acclaimed as such, while the Sunnoad stays Sunnoad, and the reign is, if anything, enhanced by the successful Correction. But death is the swift penalty for a would be Corrector who fails.Lastly may I mention what is surely one of the most loveable of political tales: Double Star by Robert Heinlein (1956), in which an actor is pressurized into impersonating a political leader during a temporary emergency, only to find that he has to take on the role permanently and for real. Interestingly, the Solar System wide culture described in the novel is a constitutional monarchy in which the imperial throne is occupied by the House of Orange. One of Heinlein's best absolutely unputdownable.

Police probe UK murder victim's secret life
The murder of Carole Waugh, a former British oil executive whose body was found hidden in a car in a lock up in southwest London might be puzzling.Scotland Yard declined to comment on the speculation now swirling around the 50 year old woman, who was highly secretive even with the family to whom she was close, and was regarded by former colleagues as a teller of what seemed to be tall tales about herself. Her family last saw her as long ago as April 9, when she boarded a train from her native Durham to London, where she had her home, a flat in London's smart Marylebone district. She was not seen after mid April, and when her family repeatedly failed to get her on the phone she spoke to them several times a week the alarm was raised. What happened next has revealed her substantial assets and the likely motive for her murder. Her bank account was plundered of several hundred thousand pounds, say police. Three different knock off cartier bangle women have tried to pose as her to use her credit cards. At least two people have arrived at her flat, claiming to be the new tenants. And a man saying he was her brother tried to sell the flat. Ten people have been arrested. One of the most intriguing aspects of the case is the source of her wealth. The daughter of a colliery electrician in County Durham, she left school with few qualifications and worked in a low level role at the Department of Social Security. She went to London when she was 25, and little is known of her until 13 years later in 2000, when she got a job in Libya with Veba Oil. Her salary was then ($46,000) after tax.Besides the large funds in her bank account, she also had some impressive jewellery, significant items of which are missing. Reports say she told colleagues that she regularly hobnobbed with film stars, and owned a Harley Davidson motorbike and a flat near Harrods. She also wore a large diamond engagement ring and wedding band, and referred to her "late" husband, although there is no record of her ever having been married. One woman who worked with her said: "None of us could work out why she had come to Libya to work for just a year if she was already so wealthy." Another said Waugh claimed she was a property developer back in London.Waugh left Libya in 2008 in circumstances that have added to the speculation. Her former boss, Stuart Anderson, said she had written to him saying she had "fled" Libya after being threatened by someone in Colonel Muammar Gaddafi's regime. Her neighbours included Saif Gaddafi, one of his sons.Scotland Yard sources, however, say they are not pursuing a North African dimension.Once back in Britain, Waugh frequently visited her family, was a keen jogger and, according to police, met men through a variety of internet sites, including dating websites. Police are also investigating the possibility that she worked as an escort, although there is as yet no evidence that she did. What does seem certain is that there was no sighting of her between mid April and the discovery last week of her body. She died from a single stab wound. She was hidden in a blue Volkswagen Golf inside the London lock up, which had been fake cartier earrings rented recently from its builder owner. Police would not comment on reports that Waugh's body had been in the garage for months.Scotland Yard said Nicholas David Kutner, 47, who was arrested in connection with the murder, has been charged with four counts of fraud. Our Regional News StoriesThe Northern AdvocateLive: Workers winners in 2017 BudgetBudget delivers more cash in the hand to almost everyone, including $2b worth of taxHawke's Bay TodayRoll up, roll up: cartier ring love replica Budget delivers cash for workers Workers are the winners in this Budget, with tax cuts as an election year sweetener.Bay of Plenty TimesBudget 2017: Ten things you need to know The key points from today's Budget. Our Features Top StoriesDrivenFamily car is travelling confessional imitation cartier bangle Study finds the car is one of the best places for honest conversation.Viva4 tips for finding calm Eleanor Ozich shares some strategies for slowing down and smelling the rosestrend knockoff cartier diamond ring nonrust steel Did you have it Let's comprehend concerning it in detail

Taylor auction is a gem
NEW YORK Auctions of Elizabeth Taylor's collection of jewels, gowns, art and memorabilia broke records last week on their way to totaling more than $150 million worth of live and online sales, Christie's said on Monday.
Four days of live auctions in New York and a 10 day online auction from the Hollywood film legend's collection took in a total of $156,756,576, or more than three times expectations.
Taylor's world renowned collection of diamonds, rubies, sapphires, pearls, emeralds and more accounted for the vast majority of the haul, selling for a combined $137 million and becoming by far the most valuable jewelry sale ever.
Records were set for pearls, emeralds, and Indian jewels, while per carat records were broken for a rubies, yellow, and colorless diamonds.
"My mother always acknowledged that she was merely the temporary custodian of the incredible things she owned," said Taylor's son Chris Wilding, who is a member of the Elizabeth Taylor Trust.
"My family is proud that our mother's legacy as a celebrated actress, tireless AIDS activist, and accomplished businesswoman touched so many people's lives that they wanted to have a part of it history," he said.
Taylor's couture gowns and apparel sale also set a record for the most valuable private collection ever sold at auction, taking in more than $5 million including commission.
Since September, some 58,000 visitors viewed highlights of the collection on a world tour that stopped in Moscow, London, Dubai, Paris and Hong Kong, with nearly half that total paying $30 to see the offerings at New York's 10 day exhibition.
The online component alone took in nearly $10 million, with more than 57,000 bids.
Even catalogs some signed, limited edition offerings priced at more than $2,000 were a hot item. Proceeds of a portion of the exhibition, catalog and other related events went to the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation.
The top price paid during the series of auctions was $11,842,500 for the historic La Peregrina, a 203 grain (equivalent to 55 carat) pear shaped 16th century love cartier bracelet copy pearl once owned by England's Mary Tudor and later by Spanish queens Margarita and Isabel.
Taylor's husband Richard Burton bought the pearl in 1969 at auction for $37,000, and Taylor commissioned Cartier to design a ruby and diamond necklace mount. The piece was estimated to sell at $2 million to $3 million.
Taylor's famous 33 carat diamond ring, another Burton gift now renamed The Elizabeth Taylor Diamond, went for $8.8 million, setting a per carat record for a colorless diamond.
Even the star's charm bracelets drew intense competition, with one estimated at $30,000 soaring to more than $325,000.
Similarly, the top lot of the online auction Hiro Yamagata's "Portrait of Elizabeth Taylor" from 1991 sold for $108,000, imitation love bracelets cartier against a pre sale estimate of about $250. Other top love ring cartier knock off prices paid online for cartier pendant copy ranged from $45,000 $78,000.

Sherman Oaks Comments
Known crime in my area of Sherman Oaks.3 years ago a murder at the apartment building on Magnolia and Woodman that related to drugs and 2 days ago a home invasion and assault of a 60 year old man at Matijila and Addison (near Woodman and Magnolia.) We all need to keep an eye open for situations that do not look right. If you feel uncomfortable about a situation, call 311 (non emergency help) and the police will check it out. We need to watch out for each other or we become easy targets.
I was just checking on the crime rate near my sister, Woodman and Magnolia. There is none. It is Sherman Oaks. The crime on the map is grand theft auto, a little, and a little theft from auto. These are nothing. There is no burglary, no armed robbery, no shootings, no breaking entry. What are people complaining about in Sherman Oaks? I know Van Nuys is to the North, and they have higher crime rates, but that doesn change the fact that the crime has not drifted down below Burbank Boulevard. They can call themselves San Francisco, that doesn change the facts.
I moved to Sherman Oaks over 34 years ago, . . the northern border street was Riverside Drive. Beyond that was Van Nuys (middle lower range income properties. Members of the van cleef and arpel clover necklace imitation City Council wanted a higher property value in their domain, therefore voted themselves as part of Sherman Oaks.
What right do they (outsiders) have the right to decide they are a part of someone else community? The community is just the same as Old VanNuys stealing the Sherman Oaks name.
Within the next couple years, the Community of Panorama City, will probably impose itself into the fray. What next? Pacoima will become North Sherman Oaks?
The vibe fake van cleef jewelry north of Chandler is totally different; I live at Ethel between Chandler and Burbank and culturally I feel more linked to Valley Glen. Also the humongous homes on Chandler end at Ethel and the ever so controversial Chabad marks the heavily Jewish vibe of Valley Village; in fact the streetlight at Chandler and Ethel changes on Friday and Saturday to accommodate for Shabbat pedestrians. Finally north of Magnolia when Chandler ends on the west has a totally Van Nuys feel. I don know how other residents feel about these little boundary changes.
I don understand why all neighborhoods in the valley and some other parts knock off van cleef red clover necklace of Los Angeles use their neighborhood name in lieu of the city name on their mailing addresses. I live in the northeast corner of Sherman Oaks with the Valley Glen area code but I occasionally see Van Nuys as the city on my address. Wouldn using Los Angeles for every neighborhood zoned in the city avoid all the confusion? Funny because my father who lived here for 15 years now thought he lived in a suburb of Los Angeles until I told him otherwise.
Despite Neighborhood Council borders, there is a motion floating out there that was passed by city council giving the official borders of Sherman Oaks and I kick myself everyday for not keeping that PDF and I can seem to find it. But as I remember, there are a couple of nuances still to go on this map.
1. Van Nuys Blvd down to Magnolia is still Van Nuys. When the borders were made, the businesses along the Van Nuys auto row felt they were still van nuys.
2. The western portion goes along the zip code line, which I believe extends beyond the 405 freeway along Sepulveda.
3. The eastern portion south of the 101 is the zip code line. I haven brought out my map to double check, but I believe longridge, not fulton, becomes the zip code line b/w the la river and mulholland.
