Then Sanctum of Domination raid introduced Shards of Domination in the 9.1 patch, as a rare alternative to set items. The actual acquisition of the socketed domination gear prevented players from taking trouble, because it could have gotten close to the armour ring, where you’d built your legendary gear. The Shard drops you needed for your class were very RNG-based, so most players felt weaker than their luckier peers.
All these systems seem exciting on paper, and I can understand what the hope was to give the players a meaningful choice of how they play their character. Just as you said it, that, without a doubt, if such a big game is the best way to choose, it will always be the best in the world, regardless of whether the protagonists are doing LFR, or he is a mythic player, or he takes the occasional neophorous+ dungeon.As soon as someone knew what the fundamentals were, it stopped being a choice for most players. The map does an excellent job of emulating WoW's earth-tone color scheme, with the more open farmland regions to the east colored a yellow-orange, with Oregon's heavily wooded coast shown in a suitable green. Several of Oregon's major landmarks and cities are labeled as well, with places like Medford, Crater Lake, Mount Hood, and Portland all labeled with appropriate icons.

There isn't any doubt that the pair of WoW-inspired maps are impressive, but one group of gamesr have taken that idea and turned it on its head. A group of dedicated Minecraft players are aiming to build a full-scale 1:1 recreation of the state of New Jersey.
