The two video games will draw inspiration from the mythical world of RuneScape from Shaftesbury's blog

Steamforged Games has announced an alliance with Buy RuneScape Gold the developer Jagex to bring RuneScape to tablets later in the year. The MMORPG may soon be not just one, but new tabletop variants: an arcade game and an interactive tabletop game that allows players to position themselves. The board game will be released on Kickstarter in the coming months while the tabletop RPG will be available immediately in retailers.

The two video games will draw inspiration from the mythical world of RuneScape, Gielinor. The games will use the characters, adventures and locations which the MMORPG has established as well-known throughout its long history. The board game will take up to five players on an entirely marketing campaign through the land of Gielinor.

According to the official statement of Steamforged, players will "craft and enhance their gadgets and characters, improve their skills, cook up unique meals interact with NPCs and test their skills while exploring certain areas of the game". Similar to the MMORPG players will also encounter aspect-questions to make the game more accessible to players from all over the world.

The TTRPG can consist of an amazing illustrated center ebook that contains all of essential information for players to play a RuneScape TTRPG. It lets players create their personal characters and then venture into the world of Gielinor to make "particular and exciting adventures". Additionally it is possible that the TTRPG center ebook could be "completely compatible with the rules of the 5th edition of the most popular position-based tabletop game".

This project could be the first time RuneScape might exist outside of an online platform, a aspect that Jagex Chief Executive Officer Phil Mansell is happy approximately:

"After more than 21 years of being only available digitally it's incredibly exciting to be part of Steamforged to develop and provide RuneScape games that are based on position. Tabletop video games...I am sure that RuneScape as well as Old School RS Gold gamers could be excited to take hands on the sculpted miniatures and create their own personal adventures."
