And Joe for you, as director on Diablo 4as director of Diablo 4, there has been a buildup of momentum, and now you're next step in the one-two punch of Diablo coming back. What's it been like to be aware of your job and does it come with a lot of pressure? How do you cope with that?
Joe Shely: Well, it's been a blast playing with the game and being able to share. I am always thinking "Okay, don't discuss the Necromancer. It's not the right time to talk about the Necromancer but." Therefore, I'm very looking forward to being able to talk about the Necromancer.
But it's also a very thrilling moment for Diablo. Diablo 4's world Diablo 4 is this vast and vast open world. Your character is created and immediately entering the world. You're not making individual games. The world is yours and you're traveling across it to find dungeons. It's Diablo as it is intended to be played.
In relation to the Necromancer obviously, a character that has a legacy to it, but I imagine that a lot of fans will be expecting to see something brand new in comparison to an old character returning. What was the thought process for bringing back the Necromancer? Instead of thinking, "Here's something that no has ever witnessed before?"
Shely Says: In many aspects, Diablo 4 is a affectionate letter to our fans. We've really emphasized this motif of returning the darkness. We're also aware that when we make an Diablo game, players have high expectations from D2: R, Diablo as well as buy D2R Ladder Items previous Diablo experiences they've experienced.
