September 26 may be the day that players finally set foot on the new continent of Northrend and begin to WoTLK Gold fight all the forces of Lich King. However, the expansion's pre-patch is actually bringing an event that is limited in duration with new class additions and fresh Wrath of the Lich King servers to anyone who is interested as well as the brand-new Death Knight hero class several weeks prior to the expansion's release. Blizzard hasn't yet revealed the date the patch will be available or how long it will last, but more information should be available soon.

Wrath of the Lich King Classic will play in the final version of this original edition of Wrath of the Lich King However, there are some modifications. There won't be an automated dungeon finding tool, for beginnings, and it's unclear if it will have quest tracking included at launch also.

In the press release, Blizzard confirms it will be offering paid level 70 character boosters as well as optional cosmetic items in Wrath of the Lich King Classic but hasn't yet detailed exactly what those things will be. Blizzard made similar announcements with the release of Burning Crusade Classic, offering a $70 digital deluxe edition that offered a character increase as well as a special mount, 30 days of gaming time and much more.

As has been the case previously with WoW Classic expansion launches, Wrath of the Lich King Classic is available for free with the monthly subscription. This provides gamers access to WoW Classic servers as well as WoW Classic, the most modern version of the game.

The latest expansion for the new game WoW, Dragonflight, is expected to release before the time of the end of the year and will bring a new region, class as well as modifications to buy WoTLK Gold the game's skill and profession systems.
