In a release by The WoW Development Team, Blizzard are planning on making several significant changes to the quality of life in WoTLK Gold Shadowlands as of patch 9.1.5 Some of which are direct responses to comments from players since Shadowlands began its launch.
"Over the past couple of weeks, since we posted an update that we shared with you, the WoW team was focused on the immediate future--both for our employees and the workplace as well as what's in store for players as well," the WoW team write. "As part of that, the entire team came together to talk about what are the biggest things we're hearing that are getting in the way of your enjoyment? What are the most significant changes we could implement to WoW now to address that?"
As was stated by Shadowlands director Ion Hazzikostas on Twitter, some of the changes planned in the next patch are centered to make the lives for "alt" characters simpler. If you're not familiar with this term it is a secondary character a player may play after having already completed most of the game's activities on an original, also known as a "main," character. There are a variety of modifications which include the addition of new ranks of antique items, the option in which to skip Covenant campaigns for alts upon having completed them with a different character, the option to skip the expansion's initial Maw questline to alts, being able to level up Torghast, as well as other. According to Hazzikostas that, more alt-friendly modifications like the ability to transfer a Shadowlands-only currency known as Anima between the main and alt characters, may be in the pipeline in the near future.
The major changes that players have been begging for for a long time are being made to this game's Covenant system, which includes the much-disliked Conduit Energy system. Blizzard will be removing Conduit Energy completely, writing in a post on the forum that the system did not play out as the developer wanted.
"We should have taken into account the community's feedback and moved in a different direction in the past year," the post reads. "A majority of players largely ignore the system and aren't affected by it, while those who do want to take part in different content kinds competitively feel restricted by it. It all amounts to buy WoTLK Gold negative experiences. Conduit Energy isn't really making the game more enjoyable in any appreciable way which is why we're eliminating the game completely."
