"Can BOTOX Make Me Look Younger?"

BOTOX may temporarily reduce lines and wrinkles, but these treatments cannot make people look as good or famous as they did in college.

What can Aesthetic injectable treatments do?

Dr. Margolin compares aging skin to a piece if paper. The paper will have permanent wrinkles if it is folded in different ways over decades. The same thing happens to our skin! By temporarily reducing wrinkles and filling certain areas, injectable treatments such as JUVEDERM and BOTOX can reduce the signs of aging.

What is BOTOX?

Although it reduces wrinkle appearance by relaxing facial muscles this treatment is not as dramatic as plastic surgery. BOTOX is a treatment that can be used to reduce the appearance of forehead lines or eyebrow creases. BOTOX reduces the appearance and texture of lines, as well as preventing them from creasing your skin. BOTOX is not able to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and lines due to facial fullness. JUVEDERM and dermal fillers are used to remedy these problems.

What is JUVEDERM, exactly?

Although it may seem counterintuitive, fat around the cheeks and forehead decreases with age. Our faces lose weight, our skin sags and we develop wrinkles called laugh lines.

Difference between JUVEDERM (BOTOX) and JUVEDERM

What is the difference between Juvederm & BOTOX? Both therapies are aimed at the same outcome, but have different active components. BOTOX

BOTOX, a non-invasive wrinkle treatment, is also available. However it is made with very different ingredients. BOTOX injections are an injectable neurotoxin. They relax wrinkles and smoothen facial lines. BOTOX is a treatment that smoothens lines and softens the appearance of wrinkles. It can be used in these ways:

Vertical lines that run between the eyebrows, also known as "glabellar line"

What You Can Expect from BOTOX & Juvederm Treatments

The BOTOX and Juvederm procedures are quick and easy to perform. Because there are more injections, it is possible that larger areas of skin will require more treatment.

How long each treatment will last

While both treatments are effective, Juvederm is faster and lasts for longer. BOTOX can be used for just a few days. The effects will fade in a few months. You will need to continue your results with additional treatments. Juvederm Filler Injections can be seen as soon as possible, according to the manufacturer.

BOTOX injections (like Juvederm) are quick and painless. The larger the area to be treated, the more you will need. It may take longer to complete multiple injections. To see results from BOTOX treatments, it can take up 24 to 48 hour.

The results of treatments
