The game we played was easy to Mut 23 coins setup. We set up a game of a few minutes and we waited for our opponent join us. 

Due to broadband connectivity the game didn't appear there was any obvious lags in the game. The game ran smoothly and with a responsive and tight control. There was a small time delay while using the communication device for chat but it wasn't evident. 

The voice masking function also was flawless and was simple to turn between off and on. It is hoped that Visual Concepts will have time to add more voice masks in order to provide more options.

From what we've played thus far Madden NFL 23's live gameplay on the Xbox is very smooth. The game's gameplay is excellent and appears to be low in lag. 

The voice chat feature and masking adds a new dimension to trash-talking and the many choices and functions for users playing online makes the game playable for players of any level.
