Steamforged Games' partnership and Jagex is the most recent in a long line of collaborations bringing one of the most famous gaming franchises to OSRS gold tabletop. Steamforged Games, a tabletop gaming giant, already has created board games inspired by series such as Monster Hunter World and Dark Souls and, most recently, completed the most successful Kickstarter campaign for the Resident Evil 2 board game raising over 1 million GBP earlier this year.
The developer is aiming at Gielinor's world and RuneScape and plans to launch both a board game and a core book for the tabletop RPG in the coming year. The two RPG versions will feature many of RuneScape's most popular characters and locations, allowing a group of up to five players to take on classic quests found in RuneScape while bringing adventure in this world called Gielinor home.
Players will be able to design and upgrade their equipment, play with NPCs and tackle various side-quests inspired of the original MMORPG. The board game will be launched by means of an Kickstarter campaign later this year while the core tabletop RPG book is expected to go on sale immediately.
The tabletop core book RPGs will notably be fully compatible with massive tabletop RPG Dungeons and Dragons Fifth Edition core books, allowing dungeon masters to buy RS gold seamlessly incorporate elements from RuneScape into their games.
