I feel such tension because now I'm more sensitive to the consequences of my choices, how the planet is established and how relationships are set up, and how sex is likely to be. Please help me to understand what is happening.

David Hoffmeister: Thanks for writing and sharing what is in your heart. The desire for sex (and other ego appetites) falls away, usually gradually and progressively through the years of mind training acim podcast apple. Permit the Holy Spirit to Guide, and your head unwinds from everything it believed in and pursued. Yet do not project awareness to where you think you "want" it to be or "believe" it should be. Defenses are outgrown, as a kid outgrows toys that when seemed exciting and enjoyable. The focus is never on the proper execution, but always on your head training.

I once felt the exact same tension and sensitivity you're these are, and my first steps in surrendering my life to the Holy Spirit was allowing all my emotions to freely come to the top of awareness with repressing them. This is intense, and yet with much mind training this eventually passed.

Take a moment and inquire concerning this very important question: Where do I believe my safety lies? This whole world—everything that individuals perceive through the five senses—is created on unconscious fear. Just how can this be? By the power of our mind. Your head simply can only just see what it believes, which is why we have to release false beliefs. In the long run, the spiritual journey becomes all about facing this unconscious fear. This is actually the transformation of the projected world into peace. Once we perceive something fearful, we are able to always allow ourselves to set aside a second to pause as opposed to react. By going for a moment to open our minds and invite Holy Spirit into our perception, we invite a miraculous shift in exactly how we see things, and we are able to begin to release habitual reacting and conditioned behaviors. We then begin to open around inspiration.
