Although rumors circulated through social media earlier in Mut 22 coins the week EA will continue to announce two more updates for Madden 22's Franchise mode. It will reiterate what it calls its commitment to Madden as a live-streamed game.

In a new statement, EA Sports told IGN:EA Says Madden 22 Franchise Updates Continue Becoming a Reality Despite Cancellation Rumors

We don't like to comment on rumors or speculation; however, we're determined to continue to improve Franchise as element of our Madden NFL 22 live service and beyond. This includes two upcoming Franchise updates that we'll deliver with Madden NFL 22. We will have more details on the updates in the coming year.

The announcement follows an article from Sports Gamers Online that EA had opted to cancel additional game mode franchise updates in Madden 22. It partly cited IGN's own conversation with Madden 22 director of production Seann Graddy. Graddy claimed that this year's strategy is "slightly less ambitious than those of the before" as the team is concentrated on a handful of areas instead of trying to develop new content in the manner of Superstar KO, a well-received arcade mode first introduced by Madden 20.

"I think the roadmap isprobably a little less ambitious than years past since we're focusing on a few core aspects that are the core of Madden 22 and also getting into Madden 23 in a big way," Graddy said at the time. "So I'm sticking to what we've been saying for the past few years"We're a living service and we'll keep updating games, though we're not planning to buy Madden 22 coins talk about a new mode."
