I would suggest using a broad/emerald (e) setup from weiyismart's blog
This is pretty good however, you'll be out of space for RuneScape Gold inventory and time of terrorbirds, you know it, or maybe just the monks in your inventory. However, it seems that the b2p will be sufficient for 80 defence, but the terrorbird isn't going to hurt, I'd guess, just play with it.
It's fairly lucrative to kill especially with falador shield 4. Or, use a tigerbird and ensure that it starts battle with the mole every once. What happens is that the terrorbird will start to follow the general path of mole even when it has dug, providing you with a good idea exactly where it could be.
In addition, the terrorbird allows the player to run endlessly (with those scrolls) that is a huge helm. If you're planning to range, you can use a general ran configuration of Dragonhide with some Prayer or Defence bonuses mixed in (Helm of Nietiznot for example). I believe diamond or ruby bolts (e) are best to use. If you're using whips, chaotic rapiers and claws or ddp. If you're in a melee, carry proselyte armour , to preserve the pots of prayer and to use the word piety.
To melee, can the use of guthans as well as a super set work? I was playing with a range setup (rune plate granite shied, or just a hiding place) but it didn't come up all that often, so i thought guthans, barrows ' gloves and some super sets could be extremely beneficial and gain money faster since i did not have to use diamonds or food as much?
If you are in a safe area (using the small gap next to the obelisk so the obelisk won't be able to hit you until it burrows) it won't require much food, if any. Guthan's plan isn't very efficient.
I would suggest using a broad/emerald (e) setup. Begin in the middle with the Emerald (e) to poison, then switch to broads after which you can finish the. Each kill will be worth about 20k or so. Myself, I aim for 2 kills every run (using the eagle eye and prot melee occasionally) before returning to home port. recharge, pray at the altar and then use the fally portal bank , and return at the right time to wait for my next run to occur.
Hey. Each person has their own unique way of doing things. Is there really a "correct" method of killing something? In my opinion, it's best to strike them with the best weapon and equipment, all the while boosting! But , then again, I've not killed one. It's osrs equipment buying sites best to cancel what's most difficult and/or the thing that irritates you. Why would you want to continue with a project that's not efficient?
