Great idea. Jagex has tried a couple of OSRS gold things, but this isn't a good idea for players with experience. The most important of these are quests. I was there to find the quest, much like I did to the desert and Morytania. This is the primary reason you should go to these regions. However, once you're done, you're done.
Slayer. This can make you a slave to the fight. Unfortunately, not all slayers can be found in the dungeons. This is due to the fact that certain areas are made accessible to all. It isn't possible to traverse an area using, for example, spectres or aberrants without the right equipment.
Hunter. This was a fascinating ability for Jagex to include, as it allowed them to allow people to use tranquil areas. Chinchompas, Kebbits and even birds (until BurthoTav) demanded to be taken out into the wilds to capture them. It was a good way for people to leave the rat race. Fishing in F2P. Karamja was the place to catch the most coveted fish. True in members of the living-rock caverns.
Woodcutting. Mahoganies and Teaks were/are very uncommon forest trees. If they are not adding unique resources to every map area What else can you suggest? Most resources have to be carefully implemented to make them effective. For instance, Mahogany needed to build a building skill, while others needed to summon animals from buy RuneScape Mobile gold hunter.
