Shop Green Suede Air Jordan 6 Gatorade AJ5986-335 from jordan's blog
Jordan Retro Shoes, The Air Jordan 6, the very shoe Michael Jordan wore during the original Gatorade campaign, will complete the "Like Mike" Collection in a Green Suede colorway. This Gatorade rendition of the Air Jordan 6 comes dressed in a tonal Green suede upper offset by the Orange hits on the midsole, heel pull tab stripe, lace lock and branding. Tonal laces and a milky translucent outsole further add to the aesthetics of the shoe. Peep the "IF I COULD BE LIKE" text on the inside of the tongue and the Gatorade-inspired lace-locks.
New Jordans 2016, The latest colorway for the Air Jordan VI is an homage to the 1991 "Like Mike" commercial that captured a generation. It arrives in Gatorade green, dressed in suede from top to bottom. Details like a squeeze-bottle-inspired lace lock, sockliner graphic and embroidered "If I Could Be" detailing on the inside tongue complete the tribute. Dressed in a Pine Green and Orange Blaze color scheme. This Air Jordan 6 Gatorade features a Green synthetic suede upper paired with Bright Orange detailing. This colorway is highlighted by a squeeze bottle-inspired lace lock, Gatorade branding on the insole and "If I Could Be" embroidered on the inner tongue — a nod to the spot's catchy song lyrics.
Other "Like Mike" Gatorade sneakers from New Jordans 2018 collection include an Air Jordan 6 style inspired by the sneaker's original "Carmine" colorway and a set of four premium leather Air Jordan 1 High OG looks inspired by the drink's most popular flavors. The sports drink's lightning bolt logo appears on the sockliner and the lace lock, the latter of which was inspired by a Gatorade squeeze bottle. Further details include embroidery on the back of the tongue referencing the shoe's connection to Michael Jordan's early 1990s "Like Mike" commercials. The look is finished off with the Air Jordan 6's traditional icy translucent outsole portions.
