Today I got my first Effigy, off Fire Giants. It was really quick to complete at w117 Daemonheim, but today I am stumped: what do I use the lamp on? Dragonkin lamps are calculated to offer large amounts of xp at high levels, unlike many lamps that are RS gold calculated to offer high levels of xp a mid levels (relatively). For example, at level 40 in a skill with a lamp out of one of the tutors (no longer available), I would acquire 2k experience. However at level 80, I'd only acquire 4k experience.
Having a Dragonkin lamp, in level 40 I'll get 3,240 expertise, but a level 80 I will get 25,360 xp. As a result it is worth placing the lamp onto a skill that I have a higher level in, but maybe not in a skill where I can easily gain experience. Regrettably, the priciest skills to level for me personally are the cheapest level. Although construction is an option, it is not that expensive, and I am stuck wondering what to do-my hgihset skill, woodcutting, is fast to level and just level 70. I would love to put it on a challenging skill, but this could be a waste. What skill should I place it on?
With this set-up you're going to be assaulted when you enter, but just run with shield magic into the Zamorak part round the ruined ice bridge. Here's what you have to perform (for cash and decent xp per hour): 53-63 hunt grey chinchompas, it is about 50-60k xp per hour and about umm 150k cash per hour (sorry if numbers are incorrect but since I got 99 a year ago, I don't really know the specific numbers) 63-83(-91 - 99) crimson chinchompas, around 65k xp each hour at 63, goes upto 95k xp in 99 and roughly 230k money per hour ( assuming you catch the typical 350 chins each hour).
I strongly advise getting 91 hunter if not 99 for a making a nice quantity of money per hour. It is possible to receive 4 kinglys' each hour in Puro Puro, however it's more like 1 (depends upon luck and how great you're at spawning). Even if you do grab only one kingly, it is 800k + ~500k from magpies/ninjas/dragon implings you catch, letting you earn ~1.3m cash per hour ( greater than RC though it really depends upon your luck/other seekers ). For the record I have made 4m cash in one hour via impling spawning. On the cheap RuneScape gold down side, implings are very bad xp per hour, so if you want 99, search chinchompas/salamanders/butterflies(in case you have the required agility level).
