Together with it being released on shops such as steam from chen's blog
Together with it being released on shops such as steam, that means there's a chance for it to come out on PS4/PS5 and Turn down the line. If only the switch version was good. PSO2 on switch is just a streamed version of Phantasy Star Online 2 and the input lag is really bad.To be fair, can it be bad for individuals playing it where it's intended to meseta pso2 be participant? Or can it be bad for people on the side of the world trying to play with a game streamed out of Japan? Japan on average has better internet speeds compared to the US, and is also a lot bigger, so in case the servers are like in Chicago or Dallas then a person from say, California would likely have a much higher ping than you would get from probably just about anyplace in Japan playing Japanese servers.
We can dream, even although it's unlikely that there will be a ps4/5 version in NA, or when there's it'll be an entirely different ecosystem, because the recent characters are tied to a Xbox live account. Given how hard it is to get Sony and Microsoft to play nice together, I doubt we'll have the ability to log in to our Xbox accounts Playstation any time soon, and that I doubt they'll execute a new account to tie your personalities to only so we can log into there. If so, I will point out that in all fairness, that is Minecraft. It among the gaming properties in the world at this point, so constraints that apply in the instances of games will get effort put into being bypassed if there's enough demand there.
Well I'm bummed, I wanted to play the NA version but I am having a wide range of issues on PC. I tried installing it through the MS Shop on a secondary drive and it dumped a bunch of files from the main directory of this drive (probably MS Store stuff) and then some info in my Documents directory. I uninstalled it and it didn't seem to remove anything, and that I had to fiddle around with permissions to get the stuff to delete. Anyhow I'm frustrated that Microsoft can not work out how to install apps without dumping crap it wants. I guess I'll check in on Phantasy Star Online 2 again in a month.
There appears to be a (currently ) known issue with the Windows Store about installing on drives aside from the system drive. If you're prepared to give it yet another try, I would recommend using PSO2 Tweaker. That supports installing on drives. If you go this route, you'll want to join the PSO2 Discord machine and browse the directions on doing as it is somewhat wonky. I rebooted my computer and it's downloading from the MS Store. I saw that the PSO2 Tweaker devs added support for NA link, so I'm going to try it with the initial download from the MS shop and see if Tweaker will update it. I started the PSO2 Tweaker I just downloaded today and it is downloading and installing the NA version for me. Neat!
What I want to know is how they will take care of accounts on different programs (Steam)... am I will need to begin over or will I be able to associate my XB account I've been enjoying on PC with and continue? If I'm going to have to begin over and shed the money/time I have spent I'm going to quit playing until the Steam version is available because I don't enjoy how Microsoft handles accounts along with the purchases. Not true, never really had a buy Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta problem with conducting Halo MCC. Halo utilizes Phantasy Star Online 2 Bar, which will not bugger out. Gaming Services which PSO2 uses differs. Gaming Services is cancer and never works + requires script that takes reboot to un/reinstall (I hate rebooting and shouldn't need to, as a linux lover ffs), Game Bar behaves.
