Wizards to sign Cedric Jackson, fake rolex daytona collection

The Wizards' 10 day carousel continues as they are expected to sign point guard Cedric Jackson to a 10 day contract later today as a replacement for the injured Randy Foye. Jackson averaged 16.4 points and 7.4 assists for the Erie BayHawks of the NBA Developmental League. This would be Jackson's third call up this season, having already spent time this season with the Cleveland Cavaliers and San Antonio Spurs. Jackson, an undrafted 6 foot 3 guard out of Cleveland State, played a total of 35 minutes with those teams, but should probably get a lot more action in Washington.

Cartier Martin was already brought in to replace Alonzo Gee,vintage rolex submariner fake, and the Houston native made his debut on Tuesday against his hometown Rockets. Coach Flip Saunders said the Wizards were actually deciding between Gee and Martin, fake rolex daytona black, before settling on Gee earlier this month. Martin played six minutes, picking up two fouls and missing his only shot attempt.

"It felt good, to get a chance to play in front of a lot of friends and family. I didn't get a lot of minutes, but that's understandable since I just got here. I'm just happy to get an opportunity," Martin said.

Martin also explained that his mother did not name him after famed French jeweler and watch maker. "She just wanted to give me a unique name," he said.

Martin has certainly taken a unique path since going undrafted out of Kansas State in 2007. Martin spent one season in Turkey before joining the D League's Iowa Energy. He finished last season with the Charlotte Bobcats, but was unable to get a deal with an NBA team last summer. Martin signed a two year deal with Benetton Treviso (Italy) before getting released from that deal and going back to Iowa.

The Golden State Warriors gave him a chance after he played well for their summer league team and signed him to two 10 day contracts in January. He averaged 9.0 points and 4.7 rebounds for the Warriors, but after his second 10 day expired, he went back to Iowa.

"It's tough, when you're trying to get in. especially when you're an undrafted guy. You have to work a lot harder, just to prove yourself at this level. I'm still young. I still got fresh legs. I just got to keep working as hard as I can," he said. "It's a good opportunity for me. I get a chance to come here, contribute and do what I do. The main thing for me is to be relaxed. I've been here before.

I really don't think anymore that the Wizards are serious about D League players, but somebody's got to be on their summer league team and be invited to training camp, and maybe Cedric can make it happen. I do think you are nuts offering any real contract to guys that are on the wrong side of 30, but at least you put it out there.

And if anyone thinks Camby is going anywhere for under $6 mil/yr, they are crazy. Could be worth it if you can keep the term short enough.

I am not sure we need to do much investment in the offseason. Use all our draft picks or at least trade them for guys that are young and known quantities (should the right trade arise). I still like Cousins, but this is a solid draft. If we got the first pick, I would rather us trade it for a solid young player and a nother top 5 (maybe 10) pick than take a chance that Wall is a flame out.

But Wall is a true point guard with the quicks to get where ever he wants to go. In the no hand checking era of the NBA, those guys are at an extreme premium.

Put Wall on the floor with a couple of shooters, a lowpot threat like Blatche, a big that can run the floor like McGee and he's going find plenty of seems to get by his man and create.

I was looking at the Ced Jackson 'highlights' on the Wiz home page. Two things of note. One, looks like he has some nice hops in addition to anything else he might bring. One of the highlights was Ced finishing a nice alley oop on the break. The other thing is that he wears a headband, as the Wiz endeavor to corner the market on headband wearers. Our next 10 days will go to Gabe Kaplan from "Fast Break", Michael J Fox from "Teen Wolf", and anyone from "The Fish That Saved Pittsburgh". Some team may fall in love with Turner in the pre draft workouts, but my guess is that again, if they see Wall, his athleticism will trump Turner. Turner's big shot to claim the 1 spot was to show up big time in the tourney. Neither player really showed that well, so that's a wash.

That being said, I don't think the Wiz can go wrong with either, or with Favors, used rolex submariner fake, or maybe Johnson or Aminu if it comes to that. The one guy who really makes me nervous is Cousins, and only because of his (perceived) attitude. In the no hand checking era of the NBA, those guys are at an extreme premium.
