A former finance bossis being threatened with bankruptcy if he doesn't pay his ex fiance more than $80,000 after a long running court battle over a diamond engagement ring.
Former Allied Finance chief executive Rob Alloway and his former partner Jane Bond have been fighting over disputed property since their relationship broke up in around 2013.
Alloway took a civil claim against Bond, seeking money to be returned for the2.31 carat diamond engagement ring he gifted her after their whirlwind engagementin 2009.
Bond hadsold the ring after the relationship ended, andcontested the claim, and the matter has been going through court for more than a year.

Bond said she had been awarded legalcosts on several occasions.
