The new style has already been badly received following the unveiling of Puma’s new international kits, ahead of Euro 2020, and these leaked AC Milan third kit images suggest a similar template will be used for some of Europe’s top clubs like Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund. It is expected the new style will only feature on Puma clubs' away and 3rd kits. A centrally aligned club crest and Puma logo is separated by a dividing line, beneath which sits the name of the club, and then their sponsor's logo.

It makes for a very cluttered, unusual style that looks more akin to a training kit than match day kit.Puma’s marketing notes for their new international designs reason that the new logo alignment puts forward the notion that the ‘jersey (and not the federation badge) symbolises the national pride and identity of each nation’. A recent kit survey published by Chronicle Live revealed that just 3.2% of Newcastle fans would have Puma design the club’s kit if they had the choice. It’s a badly kept secret that premium sportswear brand Castore, who have only been in operation for five years, will takeover from Puma in the close season. Reacting to the Puma kit leak, Newcastle fans were pretty unanimous in their opinion that a change from Puma was a good thing:
