The bustling colorful town named after the British King George III is renowned for its beautiful colonial architecture listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It is the capital of Penang and a picturesque, postcard-city of a place that will make you feel at home the very day you set foot here.

The quite popular mode of transport for travelling to George Town from Kuala Lumpur is to book an express bus from redbus.my and arrive in style, conveniently and save your pocket. Alternatively, you can also download and book a bus on its app from your respective App stores.

Alluring smells of delicious food wafting down its cobbled streets, the heady scent of incense sticks, we give you five reasons why you must visit this pretty place:

1. For the love of architecture: The British charm is reflected through every structure here, and it is because of its architectural genius that saw George Town being declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The best buys of Little India also includes accessories that are completely hand made with an ethnic touch to them. Bags, costumes, jewelry have been priced quite reasonably here. 5. Soak up the rich heritage :
If you are looking to soak up some culture during your getaway, then George Town should be top on your list. The city has long been known for its colorful history; it was even listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. This rich ancestry is reflected in the old school architecture of its buildings.

Vastly spread over 87 hectares of land, the park is just at a driving distance of 60 minutes from the centre of the town. Fare to enter the park is SG$ 1.00. If you plan to visit the park during no rush then 7:30AM in the morning is the perfect time for you. The park will take you in a flashback when Singapore was full of Mangrove swamps.

For the visitors here there’s a separate centre altogether. This centre essentially has boardwalks and strategic hideout places for bird watching. Night herons and water hens are some of the birds that are in abundance here. Also if you are one of those interested in aquaculture, the park also hosts fish farming sessions.

The treetop stroll at MacRitchie Reservoir is a major venture and a pioneer of its sort in Singapore. Standing tall at twenty five meters & is approximately two hundred and fifty meters in length, the wooden walkway gives you the chance to see Singapore in an unexpected way: without one glass structure in sight – just a picturesque view of the plush green landscape in the backdrop.

Pergi ke Padang dengan Bus dari Makassar

Makassar

Bus from Resorts World Sentossa to Kuala Lumpur TBS

I had a few days left from my business trip in Singapore before I headed to Malaysia for my next business visit. I wanted to make the most of the time that I had to explore this magnificent city. While booking my tickets for Malaysia from redbus.sg, the bus boarding point mentioned was Resorts World Sentossa and I thought of making a trip to this place.

It is one of the most luxurious and spacious air-conditioned hotel equipped with a state of the art iHome System and a private balcony for each guest room. The hotel is also equipped with a huge infinity outdoor pool, a 24-hour fitness centre and a spa that will pamper you to the fullest. The rooms have neutral tones of colour and each of them are equipped with flat screen TVs, a queen size bed, a fully stocked mini bar as well as tea and coffee vending machines.

The hotel also has a unique Chinese Tea that is solely available on request. The bathrooms are equipped with all basic toiletries. The Spa here features relaxing body massages and facials. You do not have to worry about the food either as the in-house forest restaurant serves a fusion of Singaporean and Chinese cuisine amidst an elegant decor.

Some of the major attractions like the largest Sea Aquarium, Adventure Water Park, Resorts World Convention Centre, Universal Studio of Singapore and the Singaporean Casino are all located within walking distance of this magnificent hotel.  If you are a shopaholic, you will be delighted to know that the Vivo City Shopping Mall is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel gate.

There are about 3 Operators plying on this route between Resorts World Sentossa and Kuala Lumpur TBS.  KKKL Travel and Tours, Star Mart Express, Transstar are some of the famous operators, which are preferred by the locals as well as tourists. KKKL Travels has about 5 buses plying throughout the day starting from 5:45 am in the morning to 6:30 am. The total duration of the journey between the 2 cities is about 4 hours 50 minutes but that is only if you catch the first bus in the morning when there is no traffic. If you happen to leave later during the day, it might take about 6 to 7 hours as the city is famous for its notorious traffic snarls. Another operator Star Mart Express has 2 buses plying the first one leaving at 6:30 am and the other at 6:45 am. Transstar which is a luxury Bus Operator and a little on a costlier side has only one bus plying that is at 7:00 am in the morning. Fares for these buses start from SGD36 and go up all the way to SGD50 depending upon the class of bus you book. KKKL Tours and Star Mart Express operate Executive coaches, Transstar being the only solitaire bus operator on this route. These buses have about 18 to 19 seats in each coach thereby making space for plenty of legroom.

A bus to Little India from Singapore Night Safari

Instead of splurging your money in a bar or in a night club hop into one of the most exciting night life destinations of Singapore and walk around a different species of animals which are definitely not the human kind. As the sun sets the night safari opens its doors to the visitors and an experience of a whole new level. Established in 1994, and situated right beside the Singapore Zoo it is more of a park that features wild life animals than an actual Safari. Naturally you might take some time to get your eyes acquainted to the darkness here but when you eventually do so you will be welcomed by three thousand different animals that live here.

Check out redbusfor quick ticket booking and awesome discounts!!

Spanning across 35 hectares of plush green landscape the park is also home to harmless animals like Deer. However, wild animals like the leopard are strictly kept behind barriers keeping the safety of tourists in mind. For those of you who feel lazy to take a stroll the park has also organised a tram ride which roughly lasts for 40 minutes with continuous commentary playing in the background. While on the tram you will come across eight different zones starting from the equatorial landscape of Africa to the foothills of the Himalayas. I personally recommend you to explore the park walking as you will come across more animals compared to when you take a tram ride. If you like staying until late in the night and are truly a night owl the Singapore Park is the right place for you. But let me tell you that the night life park offers an experience that is definitely worth staying awake for!!! You can hop on to bus nos. 927 and 138 on week days and during weekends you will have to take the bus no. 926.
