The Sungei Buloh Nature Park is basically a stopover for the birds migrating from the North to the South. Vastly spread over 87 hectares of land, the park is just at a driving distance of 60 minutes from the centre of the town. Fare to enter the park is SG$ 1.00. If you plan to visit the park during no rush then 7:30AM in the morning is the perfect time for you. If waking up that early is not your cup of tea, the park is open till 7PM in the evening on weekdays as well as weekends. The park will take you in a flashback when Singapore was full of Mangrove swamps.
For the visitors here there’s a separate centre altogether. This centre essentially has boardwalks and strategic hideout places for bird watching. Night herons and water hens are some of the birds that are in abundance here. Also if you are one of those interested in aquaculture, the park also hosts fish farming sessions.

The treetop stroll at MacRitchie Reservoir is a major venture and a pioneer of its sort in Singapore. Standing tall at twenty five meters & is approximately two hundred and fifty meters in length, the wooden walkway gives you the chance to see Singapore in an unexpected way: without one glass structure in sight – just a picturesque view of the plush green landscape in the backdrop.
