There was only a short queue at the boarding point. You just have to strap in yourself in the Bungy and then are launched 60 feet into the air at a speed of more than 200 kms per hour. This was a very thrilling experience for me.  If you think this is dangerous you do not have to worry as the G-Max Rivers Bungy boasts of a 100 percent safety record with over more than ten lakh riders making it back to earth safely in one piece.

There are about 4 Operators plying on the route between Clarke Quay and First World Hotel. However, Transstar, KKKL Tours and Travels and the One Travel and Tours were the 3 most popular Operators. KKKL Tours and Travels had about 3 buses plying throughout the day starting from 6:00 am in the morning till 10:00 am in the morning. The duration of the journey is about 4 hours but if you leave at this time of the day it might take longer due to traffic snarls. KKKL Tours and Travels operates only Executive Coaches with about 20 seats in each Bus and tickets costing somewhere around SGD40. Transstar is another Operator which operates only uxury class of buses with tickets costing SGD50 and above. It operates only 2 buses one at 5:45 am and the other at 7:00 am. I chose to travel by the 5:45 am bus as this was the earliest bus leaving Singapore. The One Travel and Tours is the most affordable operator with tickets costing only SGD30. However, the Operator operates only one bus in the entire day which is at 9:00 am in the morning.

On my trip to Malaysia, I visited this beautiful city of Alor Setar, which is located in the Northern part of Peninsular Malaysia. The city is popularly known as the royal and administrative capital of the state of Kedah and for some site seeing. The city is not only unique but packs many attractions in a small place. The place although is not visited quite much by tourists and is less known like Kota Bahru and Kuala Terengganu it still has a large number of attractions compared to the two cities. The best part of this city is that since it shares its border with Thailand you can get a glimpse of the element of Thai culture in this beautiful city of Alor Setar.

On my itinerary, the first place that I was supposed to visit was the Architecture that was developed by the Moorish which is spread out all across the town and depicts the different cultures that exist within the city.  One of the most significant places, which is necessary visit, is the signature landmark of Menara. Standing tall at 165 metres the structure is considered one of the tallest in Malaysia and can be seen from almost all parts of the city.   You do not have to worry, as there is an elevator all the way up to the top.

Other places that you can visit here are Masjid Zahir which is Malaysia’s most popular mosque, Balai Nobat which is a vibrant yellow tower housing musical instruments of the ancient era. While on your way to this royal museum featuring different instruments you will come across a few museums as well as art galleries. After I had visited some of the most important places here it was time to conclude my journey in the city of Alor Setar.

Owing to its proximity to Kuala Lumpur, the next challenge was how to head to this beautiful capital. After figuring out my options and on the recommendation of a colleague, I decided to take a bus to this city. Kuala Lumpur being one of the most visited places in Malaysia, all road routes leading to the city were well developed and maintained.   I booked my bus tickets from redbus.my and was quite happy with the experience. I selected my choice of seat, which was obviously a window seat while sitting in the comfort of my hotel room. I made the payments online and there was literally no need to visit any ticketing booth of the Operator. It was all on my phone.

There were about 3 popular Operators plying on the route between these two cities which were Sri Maju Express, Etika Express and Transnasional. Sri Maju Express had about 5 buses plying throughout the day starting from 7:00 am in the morning till 5:30 in the evening.  The duration of the journey was about 6 hours but if you head out early in the morning, you may cover the distance in about 5 hours. Transnasional and Etika Express both had buses at the same time leaving at 8:30 am in the morning. The cost of the tickets started from SGD42 and went up all the way to SGD55 depending upon the class of Coach you book.

Surabaya

Menyaksikan matahari terbit dari Gunung Rinjani: Mendaki Gunung Rinjani yang indah ini adalah salah satu kegiatan paling populer yang melibatkan wisatawan ketika mereka berada di pulau Lombok. Ketinggian Gunung Rinjani yaitu mencapai 3.726 meter diatas permukaan laut. Suhu udara rata-rata di gunung ini adalah sekitar 20 °C dan yang terendah yaitu 12 °C. Angin kencang di puncak biasanya terjadi di bulan Agustus. Kebanyakan pendaki memulai pendakian dari rute Sembalun dan mengakhiri pendakian di Senaru, karena bisa menghemat 700 m ketinggian. Rute Sembalun agak panjang tetapi datar, dan cuaca lebih panas karena melalui padang savana yang terik (suhu dingin tetapi radiasi matahari langsung membakar kulit). Krim penahan panas matahari sangat dianjurkan. Dari Rute Senaru tanjakan tanpa jeda, tetapi cuaca lembut karena melalui hutan. Namun, dapat saya informasikan bahwa wisata ini akan menjadi saat-saat yang sulit dan anda tidak dapat menyelesaikannya hanya dalam waktu satu hari. Sebagian besar orang lebih memilih untuk melakukan tur 3 hari atau perjalanan 2 malam untuk mendaki gunung ini. Saya menemukan pengalaman baru mendaki gunung ini karena tingkat perjalanan trekking menjadi sedikit di sisi yang lebih sulit dibanding mendaki di gunung lainnya. Tetapi begitu anda mencapai puncak gunung, anda akan menyadari bahwa setiap sen yang anda bayarkan pasti berharga. Anda dapat melihat panorama pemandangan pulau dan tempat-tempat yang dapat dibilang jauh, sejauh Gunung Agung yang juga cukup jelas terlihat.

Park Royal Hotel is one of the most luxurious hotels of Singapore which is located just beside the China Town multirail transit system. Unlike other hotels that have amenities spread across the entire premises of the hotel Park Royal is completely different and has a unique offering. The hotel has a dedicated wellness floor that features a gymn that is open for 24 hours and has private trainers for each of its guests, an infinity outdoor pool and a manmande garden walking area that is stretched across 300 metres.

Free wifi is available not only in the guest rooms but in the entire premises of the hotel. The hotel features pictursque views of the beautiful skyline of Singapore as well as the seas and oceans that are spread across several miles. The guest rooms are completely air conditioned and are furnished with wood. The rooms also have a personal safe, a flat screen TV as well as a mini bar.

Initially I had no plans of staying at this hotel but while booking my tickets for Malaysia from https://www.redbus.sg/ the Bus pick up point mentioned was this hotel. This is what made my mind to book a room here and I was quite happy with the experience. My stay here proved to be the best time on my Singapore tour as I got to see a lot of places and important land marks within a short span of time. Hong Lim Park, China Town, Raffles Place, Clarke Quay are all within walking distance from this hotel. The proximity of this hotel to the famous shopping belt of Orchard Road is what makes it stand out from all the other hotels.

There were about 4 operators plying from Park Royal Hotel to the Swiss Garden Hotel. The One Travel and Tours and KKKL Travels were the Operators that were plying Executive Coaches on this route. Starmart Express and Konsortium were the Operators plying Luxury Buses. The One Travel and Tours only had 2 buses plying through out the entire day both departing quite early in the morning. The first one departs at 5:30 am and the other at 6:30 am. The tickets are reasonably priced at SGD36 and is one of the cheapest modes of transport between the two hotels. KKKL Travels had about 2 buses plying on this route priced at SGD37. The first bus departs at 4:00 am in the morning and the second one at 4:30 am. I booked my Bus tickets with KKKL Travel and Tours as it was the only Operator plying at this time of the morning. I personally prefer travelling early in the morning as that it when the roads are quite empty with no traffic and you reach your destination faster. The duration of the journey is about 4 hours. However, if you leave at this time of the morning you might reach an hour early. Konsortium and Starmart had buses plying in the evening from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm. I was quite lucky that both my departure and drop off points were hotels.
