It's showtime in Europe! from Admin's blog

January and February is not the best season to dive in Europe so that's the perfect season to organize dive expos. Check out our quick summary about some of these shows.

The first and possibly the most famous one, Boot 2016 Düsseldorf (23-31 Jan) has been well marked on the divers' calendar for a while. On the continuously animated stage, you can expect a diverse programme for all divers, re-entrants, and novices.

Recreational diving fans meet in Hall 3 to inform themselves about popular and exotic recreational diving destinations. In addition, the “try-dive pool” and a large diving tower offer the ideal conditions to test equipment live or hold your nose under the water for the first time.

All those who like taking photographs and filming during watersports will make a find in the Water Pixel World located in Hall 4: Here, there are cameras, action cameras and accessories – including an exciting stage programme!

After Düsseldorf's Boot exhibitors have just a few days to move further east to participate in The Moscow Dive Show 2016 (3-6 February). The is #1 event in the dive scene of Russia, the ex-USSR and Eastern Europe, to the discontinued Golden Dolphin 2003-2014. All u/w activities are now under one roof: red and tech diving, freediving, u/w photo and video, spearfishing.

Apart from gear manufacturers, domestic and international dive tourism reps are to take at least ⅓ of the exhibition space, to showcase their dive resorts and liveaboards.

The show is established, organized and managed by FishPress Inc., the publisher of two major Russian u/w magazines, the Ultimate Depth (Predelnaya Glubina) and the Spearfishing World (Mir podvodnoy Ohoty).

Missed those two or living in the UK? No worries, you've got London International Dive Show 2016 (11-14 February). Organised for more than 25 years by DIVER, Britain's best-selling diving magazine, each event attracts hundreds of exhibitors offering the latest diving holidays, training courses, and dive gear - on display and to buy - and is visited by thousands of experienced and aspiring divers from the UK, Europe and beyond.

The Dive Shows also deliver an unrivaled programme of free presentations from the world's top diving speakers. And this is combined with popular in-hall features such as the Try Dive Pool, Rebreather Pool, PhotoZone, and New Product Showcase, plus themed Travel and Dive-Training areas.

If you've been to the London International Dive Show before, you'll know that everything under the sun (and the sea) can be found there. Compare or buy all that "essential" kit you've been hankering after; plan or book dive trips; or meet some of sport diving's biggest names.
