Make Rainy Days Special with a Kuroko's Basketball Folding Umbrella!

Rainy days can be miserable enough without having to carry around a boringly utilitarian umbrella. Wouldn't it be great to have an umbrella that brightens the gloomiest of weather with a design inspired by your favorite basketball anime?! Luckily for us Kuroko's Basketball fans, Bandai's apparel division has come up with just the thing! Pre-orders for the Kuroko's Basketball Folding Umbrellas started on Premium Bandai at 11:00 am on Wednesday, Feb. 22, and they retail at ¥5,148 each (including tax, not including shipping or handling). The seven designs are each inspired by a character from Kuroko's Basketball, including Kuroko Tetsuya and Kagami Taiga.folding umbrella
Each of these folding umbrellas is inspired by a different character from the Kuroko's Basketball anime series, and the designs feature colors and illustrations that are special to each of the characters. The designs come in stylish pastel shades, and the characters that they are inspired by are Seirin High's Kuroko Tetsuya (light blue), his teammate Kagami Taiga (red), Kaijo High's Kise Ryota (yellow), Shutoku High's Midorima Shintaro (green), Too Academy's Aomine Daiki (blue), Yosen High's Murasakibara Atsushi (purple), and Rakuzan High's Akashi Seijuro (red).
Part of each umbrella's fabric features a striped design, which is decorated with different images for each of the characters. The Kuroko Tetsuya design features the silhouettes of Kuroko's beloved vanilla milkshake and of Tetsuya 2, the adorable pet dog of the Seirin High basketball team, while the Kagami Taiga design is emblazoned with his favorite food - hamburgers! Each design also features a tag with the player's number. The handle is made from wood, which feels pleasantly warm while holding it on a drizzly day. The ribs are made from aluminum, and these umbrellas measure 25 centimeters when folded, making them easy to carry around when you're out of the rain.
