I'm aware that this is subjective experience

Xiamu

The simple fact that it's difficult to play it lightly. I personally find this kind if AFK multitasking really awful, since it makes me tired very quickly (switching attention from a job to another is particulary dull for human beings) and it does not allow me to enjoy and immerse in my activities, like work or chatting or viewing YouTube.

I'm aware that this is subjective experience I am talking about, but I am curious as to what do you guys think. I mean, is it only a structured more fun form of work which you pay to perform or is there some thing in RuneScape that is enjoyable and fun in itself (e.g. enjoying a specific minigame)?

RuneScape is the type of game where you need to create your own fun, yet are surrounded by a great deal of individuals that wish to drive you to do things which aren't enjoyable and a lot of game style that pressures you to do chores, instead of have fun. This enables you to feel pressured to log in even on days you do not want to, because losing that chance to participate in content feels awful.

Auras are miserable, horrible things as well. They force one to remain logged in for as long as they last - then say,"shoo, shoo! I am done with you. Proceed" When they're over, because, hey, you just used this wonderful thing that assisted you a lot and maybe even was essential for you having the ability to finish the content you're playing. It is an uncomfortable drive and pull - rather than simply encouraging you to play when you desire, it encourages you to play regularly, but not play too far - because hey, even should you really advance to where you want to go that's step one to getting bored with RuneScape, that is only a short jaunt away from canceling your subscription and taking a rest from RuneScape.

Oh and god, RNG is simply. Questionable a lot of this time. With RuneScape becoming more and increasingly lengthy, RNG grinds it's kinda bound to happen that people get sucked into long grinds that go nowhere they keep pushing. It also is likely hitting on some comparatively negative emotional trappings. Anyhow, yeah, the layout has problems. As for what I enjoy - I like just researching RuneScape, doing odd things that other men and women don't to, and learning more about the little things. I like to challenge myself with things I didn't think I could do. I love to progress to goals that build towards something greater - the manner RuneScape can really crescendo over time is gratifying.
