Certain people I can understand particularly when it comes to discussions about micro-macrotransactions. Even though we disagree with the direction of ActiBlizz, a lot of us want to participate in TBC.
It's the case. I think buying the boost is a bad idea and sets negative precedents. I think the person should stay clear of microtransactions. the retail industry does. But, I'm not aware of his views. I don't follow him or any other streamer, except for occasionally I watch YouTube videos.
There isn't a thing as WoW. It's a decision you make, it is not something you require. Entertainment is a fundamental requirement. But, you could get entertainment anywhere else and not be a part of a fraudulent business. It is impossible to leave the society.
While you are making great points but you're actually fighting with people who are below you. I've yet to meet someone who glances at their life and says "this home and my job, my car, my friends and the cost of everything I purchased are all perfect." Everything we do is not perfect. It's perfectly acceptable to critique something and make use of it. It's only when it is hypocritical that it crosses the line of being sloppy and unworthy of your time. It's a sad state of affairs.
